14 New Batman Arkham Knight HD Photos and Gallery of All Photos So Far: Riddler, Oracle, Commissoner Gordon, Penguin, Two Face and The Arkham Knight!

arkhamknightnew7
I’m currently playing through Batman Arkham Origins and really loving it (though jeez the game is stingy with achievements).  It’s getting me psyched for this fall’s Arkham Knight and we have a batch of new HD photos from Rocksteady Studios showing more of Oracle, Two Face, Riddler and The Arkham Knight.  Who do you think it is under there?  I think it’s one of the Robins; Damian Wayne or Jason Todd, but who knows?  We’ll find out when we finally get our hands on it October 14th.  I apologize if there are repeats in the gallery, but I wanted to get as many photos as I could find in one place for you to slaver over. 8 New Batman Arkham Knight HD Photos: Oracle, Gordon, Penguin, Riddler and More!

Batman Arkham Knight, Batman, Barbara Gordon, Oracle

I can’t stand how good this game looks.  I love that Oracle is in the mix.  I’d hope we  would get to see the other members of the Bat family too since this is the grand finale of the Arkham Rocksteady Trilogy.  I’m sure WB Montreal will keep making games that follow Arkham Origins, but this particular story will come to a close.  Given what happened to the Joker in Arkham City, nothing is off the table including the death of the Dark Knight himself.  Arkham City’s release date has been hard confirmed for October 14, 2014 and I am counting the days.  Rocksteady’s official synopsis after the break. Trailer Time: Batman Arkham Origins Full Trailer

There was quite the back and forth on this yesterday. Kevin Conroy WAS Batman. No he wasn’t YES he was! No, he’s not for Arkham Origins, the actor tried to clear up in a tweet, he’s working on the NEXT Arkham game. Which leads me to believe there’s a 2014 Rocksteady Arkham title for the next gen consoles. Deathstroke will be a playable character so that’s a plus, but I’m still dubious, no matter how cool this is. I may need a demo or a rental. AA and AC just left the bar so high…

Christmas Eve.  Two years after the birth of The Bat.  It’s safe to assume that Bats survives the night (given that this is a prequel to Arkham Asylum and Arkham City), but it looks to be one hell of a night.

Kevin Conroy Absent as Batman in “Arkham Origins”

You don’t pass on Kevin Conroy! Kevin Conroy passes on YOU! Seriously, with Paul Dini not writing it, Mark Hammil and Kevin Conroy not back and Rocksteady Studios not developing it….there’s little but the name connecting this now to the previous Arkham games.

PowerUp Online

Arkham Origins developer WB Montreal has passed on casting Kevin Conroy, who has voiced Batman in multiple titles since Batman: The Animated Series, as Batman in the upcoming videogame.  WB Montreal stated that since Arkham Origins is an origin story featuring Bruce Wayne in his younger years, they’re looking for someone younger to fill the role.  While fans of Conroy’s voice work as the caped crusader will be disappointed, it is understandable that they’d cast an actor with a younger sounding voice to portray Batman in his earlier years.  No news as to whether or not Mark Hamill will reprise his role as The Joker.

Batman: Arkham Origins is Announced

Warner Brothers has announced that the third title in the Batman Arkham series will be entitled Batman: Arkham Origins and  will be released this fall for all relevant gaming consoles.  Arkham Asylum and Arkham City were, as a Batman fanatic, just a joy to play though.  This game will serve as a prequel (yeah I know we all are getting to hate that word) to the other games and we’ll know more when this month’s Game Informer hits the stands as this is their cover feature.  I am concerned because it’s a different developer and Rocksteady did such a fantastic job, Paul Dini won’t be writing it and Mark Hamill has retired from doing the Joker.  So cautiously hopeful is my mood towards this.
