Their 10 Best is a weekly column that profiles the greatest works (film or television) by one of the best actors, directors, composers, etc. in Hollywood.  These brief profiles contain Killing Time’s pick for their top 10, a rundown of the subject’s awards & honors, my favorite scene from their body of work, and a preview of what’s next for that person.  This feature replaces the old “Latest vs. Greatest” feature, the archives of which are still kept on this page.  Profiles are dynamic and will be updated as needed.

LATEST VS. GREATEST ARCHIVE

Latest vs. Greatest examines directors, actors and actresses and the current state of their careers.  We’ll look back at the last 10 movies the artist has done, give them a grade and then average them out to see where are today.  We’ll also rank their 10 best movies and give those the same treatment to see how their current projects compare to their very best work.  (A quick side-note: if an artist is also a regular on a TV show we’ll grade the seasons as individuals and, clearly, artists need 10 projects to qualify).  If it should happen that the featured artist is deceased, only their greatest ten will be examined.
