With the exception of The Walking Dead, zombie fatigue in pop culture is beginning to seep into my previously undead-loving (not literally because of the …ew) mind. I played the original Dead Rising and it was ok. The second installment is the new free game for Xbox Live Gold Members. You can download for free any time between now and the end of August. I grabbed that I’ll give it a chance. The third title will be an Xbox One exclusive launch title and this is the best looking trailer for it yet. Since Microsoft still has yet to tell us when in November the launch date for Xbox One is, I can only tell you that if you want to get your zombie kill on, you may do so sometime in November. It should go without saying, but on the off-chance that you’re not anticipating it…this video is blood-intensive.
Set 10 years after the events of Fortune City in Dead Rising 2, players are introduced to Nick Ramos, a young mechanic with a strange tattoo and a mysterious past, who must find a way to escape a city full of zombies before an impending military strike wipes the city of Los Perdidos, California, and everyone in it, off the map. Nick can’t do it alone – he must join up with other survivors to stay alive. They must fight their way out before it’s too late.
