Bioshock Infinite: Burial at Sea DLC Part 2 Achievement/Trophy List

Bioshock Infinite, Elizabeth, Rapture

After releasing my personal game of the year for 2013, Irrational Games has all but disbanded, Ken Levine is headed to Hollywood to make movies and 2K will handle the future of the Bioshock franchise.  That is a long way of saying that part two fo the Burial at Sea DLC may well be the swan song for the creative team that brought the franchise to life.

Trailer Time: Bioshock Infinite “Burial at Sea Pt. 2” (2014) *HUGE SPOILER WARNING*

What perfect timing!  I just finished and reviewed (read here) part one of Bioshock Infinite’s amazing Burial at Sea DLC when the trailer for part two debuts online and if you have not played the main game OR part one, this trailer contains massive spoilers.  But if you’re up to date, get ready for a shocker.  In part two, you’ll be playing as Elizabeth and working for a very, very familiar face.  No release date, but the trailer promises “coming soon”.

Video Game Review: Bioshock Infinite “Burial at Sea Pt. 1” (2013) *Minor Spoilers*

Bioshock Infinite, Elizabeth, Rapture

The KT community may have named Batman: Arkham Origin as its 2013 Game of the Year, but for me it was by far Bioshock Infinite.  In fact, BI, wasn’t just one of the best games I played last year, it was one of the best games I’ve ever played.  If you want my full reaction, click here for my review of the game, but this weekend I finally got around to playing the first episode of the story-driven DLC for the game: Burial at Sea.

I’m going to try to keep this as spoiler-free as I can, because Bioshock Infinite has one of the most shocking and profound endings of any game ever and how this DLC plays into that ending and the story of Columbia, the city in the clouds, is something people should discover by playing the game.  This game, though, does not take place in Columbia.  It returns gamers to the site of the first two Bioshock games: the underwater city of Rapture. Bioshock Infinite “Burial at Sea Pt. 1” Release Date and Achievements

Bioshock Infinite

Xbox 360 Achievements has a release date and the trophies/achievements for the first story-driven piece of DLC from Bioshock Infinite.  Burial at Sea will be a two-part story featuring Booker and Elizabeth in Rapture, the city under the sea from the first two Bioshocks, at the height of its glory.  The first part of the story will be released on November 12th.  Bioshock Infinite, Breaking Bad Season 5.5 and Gravity are the three indelible entertainment experiences of 2013 thus far and I can’t wait to dive back in to that world.

BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea – Episode 1 features Rapture as you’ve never seen it before,” says Irrational. “A shining jewel at the bottom of the ocean, built almost entirely from scratch in the BioShock Infinite game engine.

“Join Booker and Elizabeth in a film noir-style story that places them in a shining, pristine Rapture on the eve of its fall from grace. Explore the underwater city, try your hand at a grift or two, and even encounter some old ‘friends’ from the original BioShock.”

Now, for achievement hunters (passed 90,000 gamerscore last night WOO HOO!) like myself, there will be 250 points to be had and here’s the released list of objectives, though some are kept secret for story reasons.
