Guillermo del Toro Says Hellboy 3 Won’t Happen; Reveals What Might Have Been

I’m a big fan of the universe Mike Mignola created over at Dark Horse Comics with Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.  I thought del Toro did a really good job with the first Hellboy, but the second Hellboy was just phenomenal and set up such promise for a conclusion, but unfortunately it looks like it isn’t going to happen.  Del Toro is next making Crimson Peak with Benedict Cumberbatch, then a small black and white film before returning to Pacific Rim 2.  That takes him out to 2017 and anyone who watches Sons of Anarchy knows Ron Perlman is already pretty grizzled to strap on the …..full body make-up, horns and huge hand (that flowed better in head).  Del Toro’s full comments along with what sounds like a truly epic finale are below.
