The Incredibles 2 Trailer #1 (2018) *It’s Time To Get Back to Being Incredible!*

The first full trailer for The Incredibles 2 is out from Pixar and Disney, and this looks like a ton of fun.  The trailer lays out as much of the story for the film that we’ve had so far, which looks like a flip of the first.  Elastigirl looks like she’s going to be the face of rehabbing the supers, while Mr. Incredible juggles his super brood of kids at home.  The film also briefly shows us the film’s villain: The Screenslaver.  Then, the meeting that had to happen: Jack Jack and Edna Mode.  The Incredibles 2 will release June 15, 2018.

Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.

The Incredibles 2 Teaser #2 (2018) *Winter Olympics Preview*

During last night’s exhibition of superhuman abilities at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, Disney Pixar unveiled a new sneak peak of this summer’s most anticipated animated film, The Incredibles 2, opening June 15, 2018.

The Incredibles 2 Teaser #1 (2018) *Jack-Jack’s Back!*

Of all the original batch of Pixar films, The Incredibles seemed to lend itself most easily to multiple sequels, but-to his credit-Brad Bird didn’t have the story, so a sequel was never made.  At any other studio, they’d have just gone ahead and made one without a story (outside Pixar and inside Disney they still would have; it’s why we have five Pirates films instead of one).  But Pixar and Bird have waited until they had a story to tell that picks up largely where we last left the Fantastic Four.  I meant The Incredibles.  Clearly.  They’re nothing alike.  For one thing, The Incredibles have made a film…..and another will be coming June 15, 2018, picking up essentially where we left the super family at the end of the first film.
