Killing Time’s Top 10 TV Shows of 2015

Though we’ve stated this on numerous occasions (and movies if they keep up the quality may start having us re-evaluate) TV is a better medium for quantity, quality drama than the big screen.  2015 proved no exception, and no exception to the trend that comedies are, by and large, nearly extinct and if you want the best of TV, you’d best be a Netflix subscriber, HBO wouldn’t hurt and AMC and USA are more relevant than ABC or CBS.  This is the new world of television we live in, and it’s honestly great!  Even Amazon is getting into the act with Bosch and Man in the High Castle, starting to put them on the map.  KT readers and I both agree that Daredevil’s first season is the best thing on TV and leads our year-end list.  With the exception of Star Wars, DD was the most fun I had with an entertainment experience this year.  Total perfection.  The rest of the list wasn’t shabby either, though we bid farewell to a lot of shows this season: Parks & Recreation, Parenthood, Mad Men, The Colbert Report, The REAL Daily Show, and The Late Show with David Letterman amongst others.
