We knew the first trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy was coming relatively soon. I thought it might wait until Captain American: The Winter Soldier came out, but how about tomorrow? The first look at the debut of the cosmic corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live tomorrow night (unless it pops up on YouTube before then). Either way, as soon as it’s available, we’ll have it up on KT. We also get three more pictures of the team courtesy of USA Today. Guardians of the Galaxy will be the final film before Avengers: Age of Ultron and will hit theaters in August.
It’s not much, but this is your first look at Avengers 2. Currently shooting in Johannesburg, South Africa, Joss Whedon is reportedly shooting the beginning of the film. As you might imagine….this is rumored to involve the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo). Avengers: Age of Ultron won’t hit theaters until May 2015. The next Marvel movie, though, isn’t too far away at all. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is only six weeks out, opening April 4, 2014.
Forty-Eight days and counting until Game of Thrones fans can return to Westeros with Season Four. Season three was a brutal, brutal gauntlet. I am current on the books and I can perhaps ease your mind when I tell you that things aren’t getting cheerier, but you won’t be stumbling around your house numb and and broken like you were during season three. The seasons have been each following one of the books, more or less, but with the arrival of season 4 we get to an interesting conundrum.
