Fall TV 2013 Premiere Guide – When All Your Favorite Shows Are Returning

abc, cbs, nbc, fox, cwSunday night the Emmys will be handed out (and we’ll have a full wrap-up Monday), but then the fall season begins in earnest.  Though a few shows have already gotten out of the gate (Fox always starts early), by and large the unofficial start date for the 2013-2014 TV season is Monday, September 23, 2013.  But not all shows return at the same time, so, broken down by months, here’s your comprehensive guide to when your most anticipated new show debuts and your favorite returning series comes back from the summer hiatus.

Now, if you don’t see your favorite show up there (say, Community), remember that a lot of the networks are following the cable model of fewer repeats to retain viewership.  This means shows finish more quickly and mid-season replacements are more important than ever.  Community will be back for a fifth year and when I have a mid-season schedule, you can be assured I shall pass it along.  Now that you are armed with your viewing schematics, go forth and vegetate!
